Calm down, you just want your clan to get some attention by putting a clan spin on this. Fact is most of his sympathizers are from the "SSDF" clan.

 

Maakhir/Haylaan, whatever that barren mountain region is called is terribly impoverished and its residents run to Bosaso and Garowe for economic opportunity. Maakhiris/Haylaan folk don't have enough money to create a makeshift port in Las Qoray or build an adequate armed group without the help of Puntland, I doubt they could ever construct a force strong enough to face Puntland like this. 90% of the money if not the force, comes from the "SSDF" clan as you would say. The fact that some leaders of the group were hiding out in Bargaal not long ago just tells you how this isn't a one-clan operation.
