This is a wake up call to the world. It will send shivers inside them. How can you send peacekeepers, to a place where there is no peace to keep. Instead, you have here, a ugandan force that is the private army of the tfg and the ethiopians.

Killing Ugandan AU troops will only enhance the TFG case against 'kacdoonka', and it will legitimise their false claim that there are terrorist elements in country.

These are paid mercenaries and they should have known the inherent risks attached to being in a war zone. Still, I'd rather see Ethiopian troops and their collaborators suffering this fate.

Big mistake! Ugandans are here to help us. They have abstained from the recent fighting. Why kill them? What have they done to Benadir folks?

The insurgency are making the case for the TFG charges. Big mistake indeed!

The Mistake was made by Yoweri, brnging in former rebels to a war zone in disguise as peacekeepers.

The Ugandans were a pown for dollars. Yoweri made some cash from the deal. An Ex-Militari Ugandan friend of mine gave me some ugly tales related to the deployment of troops to war zones. Yuweri Museveni takes Ugandan troops where dollars are found. They are in Iraq and they are in Somalia. The reason behind their deployment is monetary and nothing more. They are not in Somalia for peace but for dollars. Good luck to Museveni and his capitalist venture in Somalia.

This kind of ventures are quite common in East African states. I remember way back when Kenya deployed some of its troops in Bosnia. The whole exercise was really monetary. Some of the families whose sons and daughters were deployed there were enjoying all the pleasures of hard currency, but when disaster struck, they were on their own. The country's military was then headed by Maxamuud Barrow and due to this, there were alot of Somalis (they make a high percentage b the way) in the Kenyan army involved in the venture. It was pure about money.

No awoowe...Yoweri wants the average family in Mogadishu to enjoy peace. He volunteered his troops to lend a hand provided others will foot the bill. He can cut his losses 2morrow and take his trrops out of harms way. Ethiopians will fill the vacuum and as you have seen they are willing to kill 10 for one fallen Habash! Awoowe maxaa kuu siyaaday?
