QabiilDiid Posted November 21, 2006 Duke, stop being so enthusiastic about the thread. Pompous, sickly overbearing so called president Cadde Muuse is attempting to deceive the Somali population in northeastern and some parts of central Somalia. On one side of his mouth he is telling the public that his soon-to-be-disbanded admin is adapting Islamic Sharia after he has consulted with some of the religious leaders and elderly on the wishes of the people. On the other side of his mouth, he is conforming to his main public security watch dog that nothing has changed and no agreement whatsoever has been concluded with the representatives of the Sheikhs and wadaados. Listen to his whip, Carays being interviewed in Hornafrik radio program today..….This is a soon-to-be-doomed approach for coolling down the public upraising but one thing is for sure the People’s Revolution (Kacdoonka Shacabka) will continue and different segments in that part of Somalia will not be stopped declaring their Islamic Courts and the support they have for Union of Islamic Courts (UIM) of Mog. so that the process of salvation and unity of Somalia is billion folds strengthened. RedSea Posted November 22, 2006 Only time will tell whether Puntland can stick to its word. However, one thing to look forward is if Puntland has really adopted the Sharica law, then one should expect a cooperation between them and the ICU in Xamar, after all those who have the same interests usually bond. General Duke Posted November 22, 2006 ^^^Red Sea the clan courts and Puntland will not have the same interst untill the courts stop all the badil activities in their regions, including the occupation of the lower Shabbele and return the occupied properties of Mogadishu, then we will bond as never before. PS: Mogadishu has no Shariah law in place other than Cimamad wearing millitia. So charity and law starts at home. Nayruus, you have lost the argument saxib, long ago when you discarded principle for the clan courts carrots to your clan. I support Shariah law, but not the Rambo style nonsence of Xasan Turki and Xasan Dahir, thats just a joke.. Cayrays can say whatever he wants, he is a soldier and out of place to criticise the President.. Allamagan, the argument for attacking and destabalising Puntland is finished. If they come with all their guns they wont be able to shake Puntland, because the people have what they demanded a move towards Shariah law. Not to be ruleb by Xasan Dahir and his fake Shura, full of IndacDae, Cirfo and the like.
Naxar Nugaaleed Posted November 23, 2006 few questions. Can leaders bypass the constitution because puntland has a constitution and that is the supreme law of the land. Does not islam say there is no compulsion in religion, would not be unislamic to force islam on people? the problem was not religion (all Somalis are muslims and implemetation of islam is not something done through courts or presidential degrees) but that the leadership were doing things without consulting people and this latest action, instead of solving that, only increases it. This very desappionting for two reason. one it show that those warlords are forcing puntlands president. two, this reform is not what puntland needed. how about having members of parliament directly elected. RedSea Posted November 23, 2006 MR.DUKE, History tells us those who have the same interests usually go down the same path. You accused the ICU of not being based on Sharica law, then who has encouraged PL to implement Sharica law,it's coicidence ama cadan baa laga heesayaa. As I have told you before, the homes that were taken away by the ousted warlords have been returned in some part(those claimed thus far)and Insha Allah as more people return they will be turned over in all. moreover, you may not have a word about lower shebelle,it would be good to hear those who hail from those regions and what their input would be, they would most likely support the ICU for their good work, hakugu taanaato. fact: Puntland isn't the first to say "we implemented sharica law"actually not second,it's more the third. p.s waxanoo faana iska daa,oo aad hajabayso,I don't in ay cabsi kaa keentay in aad tiraah Puntland will not be shaken and such. You feel threaten as it seems, hence for being in defense mode.
