Besides Ciddamaada la sheegayo waa dhoowr un (few-allgedo website or gedonet.com says its just about 30 or so). Iam skeptical of why we need Ethios to help with nabadooniyaada Gedo region Tell me also, what does this have to do with SNF/SSRC?? (or its actually this faction that invited the Ethios) Raula sis we don't need Ethiopia to help us with anything! They need and want to keep Gedo region under their grasp, because they don't want to lose their business and economic interests in Gedo. They couldn't stay in Gedo by force before, so now they are using the SNF/SRRC to reach the "hearts and minds" of Gedonians by alleging they want to reconcile the SNF/SRRC and the rest of reer Gedo. As you might know, the SNF/SRRC was expelled from Gedo region by the rest of the combined Gedonians and they have been camped out in the Ethiopian controlled city of Dollow. The head of the SNF/SRRC Mohamud Sayid Aden doesn't really share the ideology of the rest of the SRRC group and he isn't very pro-Ethiopia or pro-Ethiopian interest in Somalia. He has, however, went under their wings to get their powerful support, but the Ethiopians had in the past no wish to completely push their interest on him. Now that he is in the Somali parliament in Kenya, the Amxaaro are trying to push their interests in the most peaceful of ways by taking advantage of the political division of the SNF/SRRC and the rest of Gedo. My father was just telling me that the Gedo nabadoons and odayaals are aware of Ethiopia's ambitions, but are taking advantage of this fruitful opportunity to completely unify and pacify Gedo and it's inhabitants (SNF/SRRC and the SNF) . I guess there agenda is to take advantage of the agricultural or for this sake "perceived agricultural boom" that they seek from that region-due to its fertile land. I don't think resources (agriculture and mineral resources) are the primary objective. These are the same countries a stable somalia threatened for their treatment of somalis. Instead, the aim is to make sure somalia depends on their political will and military leverage. By arming different thugs (read warlords) the taaji smelling garacs and their madax canbuulo's brethen's so called conference is to make sure somalis never become a viable state.
