According to what I have heard [all hearsay, and tea leaf reading addmitedly], Jamac Kallun hasnt got a chance of winning the presidency, although he might be lucky enough to land a job in a goverment run by Abdullahi Addow, that he is in alliance with, the prime portfolio of foreign minister will go back to Ismail Hurreh , a man that many see as having been a good fundraiser for the TNG, as well as succesfully having managed the somalia TNG into being recognized by the U.N the Arab League and the African Union, Even when the situation on the ground really did not warrant such recognition.

Most likely you did not, I agree. I was like that. I was not open-minded and because of emotions emanating from my close relatives and friends I used to block any arguments or rationalizations for anti secession. It was hard for me to complete reading and fully comprehending the merits of any literature for pro unity. In my mind the commonalities of Somali people were superseded by an emotional jealousy of “if Djibouti is an international recognized state, why not us?†pride. But deep in my mind I knew that the SNM maniacs who are the main pushers of this non starter secession hoopla had made and are making historical blunder. I set my self to read any Somali history book that I can get. I started reading the ABC of the World economics, human psychology, political science, international law and any material that can ease my dilemma. But, Alxamdu Lilaah, my savoir is the Holy Koran and the traditions of Prophet Mohamed (CSWS).

 

The problem was me. I was running from who I am. I have to stop blaming Afweyne (Alla Abaalkii ha mariyo e), and how the people from the South of Somalia treated us when the two colonial administrations were combined. What is stopping me to become the elite, the leadership and the main decision maker of the Somali People? I believe the average IQ of the Somalis from the North is little bit higher than that of the south, but the problem is lack of self confidence and tribal emotions. We can compete to take the leadership of the Somali people if we stop believing in the propaganda and lies of the SNM maniacs and the few supporters who want to rob the few dollars from international aid.

If the giant from the North West of Somalia wakes up and stop daydreaming, Somalia will become a heavyweight in Africa and in the Muslim Umma.

 

My journey to reality and out of darkness and emotional entanglement made me a Somali nationalist and washed off my mind all tribal irrationalities.

 

I have to stop being the laughing stock and shame of Africa. Have you ever taken your blood pressure when this thought crosses your mind? How come Amhara who have been our neighbor and natural enemies since time immemorial, have the desire, the determination and the capability to keep together and rule people of different ethnicities, different religions, different languages, different customs and traditions and different national ambitions? On the other hand, the Somalis who have been categorically described as one race (in every sense of the word) can not agree to live together under one state. As people we seem to be less mature, weaker and less narrow-minded than our neighbors including Kenya. As educated Somali do you have less manhood qualities?
