when i just heard that the Ethios and the clan govt arrested prominent elders from a given clan in that region.

Sure the truth comes out bit by bit although Shabelle radio would like it rather not to or in their case often try to twist the new developments on the ground.

 

Good job I say and I wish the new admin good luck and that they fulfill their jobs accordingly and honestly to its description and that they fulfill what they set out to do and that is to work for the development of the city foremost the security, justice system, tax collection and the promotion of peace and a better understanding between the communties that reside in that city inshallah.

 

Overall what is needed is enthusiasm, co-operation, advice-seeking and decision-making on a consensus basis and dealing swiftly with complains of the people they supposed to reside over, all in all in short, they should provide good governance to their subjects and people they govern over.

 

I wish them all the success inshalla to achieve all those points mentioned above.

Good news is coming out of these areas, and no prominent elders have been arrested as some are claiming. Kismayu admin is in place.

Also, the 3rd Division is an overwhelming reer Gedo division which was at first headed by Barre Hiiraale's field commander Col Fartaag, and now in his temporary incapacitation turned over to his collegue, Hiiraale's former head of port security, Col Ismaaciil Khaliif Shire. How do you think it came to be that the Ethiopians would turn over weapons to them knowing full well the situation in Kismaayo vis-a-vis naming of the administration? Can you not say they are playing a game reminiscent of early colonial powers whereby the locals were conquered with an affective strategy of division? Divide and conquer, always keep the playing field equal and never let one side get strong enough to cancel the other out?

It's irrelevant that this division comes under 'reer gedo' or 'reer hiiraan' or whatever. All that matters is that they come under no longer tribal militia leaders but under Somalia's national government.

It's immensely relevant who commands the said division since this facade of government is predicated on 4.5 clan formula. That permeates through every aspect. Either you religiously adhere to the 4.5 formula or you don't. There's no tolerance for half measures.

^ I understand what you are saying. However I was trying to show brother Not Applicable, that his affirmation of who is in charge of the third division or the fourth division means nothing at the end of theday. This is not clan division army.

 

These guys have to own up to Ina Libaax Sankataabte ( Part of the .5 which is wrong but whatever)who cares not for this tribal seeing as how the man is a 'minority' or whatever that means.
