Abdilaahi Yusuf put it, then it begs why in the first place that Somalilanders refused in participating in the now defunct MBagathi peace talks? Why had Somaliland rejected time and again high level deligations from the United Nations, the Arab League and the IGAD who spent huge time in even trying to bribe the traditional leaders of Somaliland? If Somaliland were that easy in giving up its hardwon independence, it wouldn't have rejected the previous 14 so called peace conferences, of which the last was the Artha Peace conference in which Somaliand even severed its ties with Djibouti because of that reason.
