Today, some news wires reported that a weapons cache had arrived into Beledweyne from Ethiopia - sent to forces loyal to Midland State government. So, what is Midland State? What's the whole situation in Hiiraan? I didn't hear about Midland State or Laqanyo before the death of Col Qalaad (alaha u naxaristo). Fill me in.. (sool flashbacks) anyway waxaan ognahay that the city is divided by the shabeele in 2 parts and 2 clans. i think it has got to do with the rivalry of these clans and maybe a proxy conflict between srrc and samatabixinta cuz qalaad (ahun) and his admin is pro-c/yussef and prolly the other side aint. i thought qalaad was of hiiraanland, not midland.
