Peacenow Posted March 28, 2007 The 'entity' will not be recognised. All these people of talking about leaving the union is a dead horse. The UK is bothered about Scotland leaving, Canada with Quebec, Africa? we wont even go there. It will take forever. In a federal state, all states will have their own power to conduct their affairs within a larger entity. They can set their own laws, local tax regimes, compete with each other, basically everything a country would want, short of its own army and foreign policy.
