As we send our condolences to the late Mr. Farah Mohamed, his family, relatives, friends, colleagues, the people of Las Anod, the Sool region and Somaliland in general, one thing is clear, for every fallen hero, another will take up the task. The late Mr. Farah Mohamud was a man of law and order. A credit to his nation, a diligent officer and a true Somalilander. After leaving Isha prayers and fulfilling his worldly obligations, he was attacked near his home. It gives us all some comfort to know that a brave man dies but once, whilst a coward or cowards, such as the instigators of this callous attack, will die a thousand times. They will be apprehended and will face the full force of justice in Somaliland. This kind of attack only makes the people of Somaliland more resolute, stronger, and more united in facing terrorists of every persuasion. From East to West, North to South, every Somalilander is ready to take up the tasks of the late police officer, and every other hero of Somaliland, who gives his life for his country.
