think about it logically duke, even though you beg somaliland to take control of power and the next you claim otherwise, flip flopping seems to be a pirate characteristic, politically speaking its like debating with a christien a born again one at that, maybe thats why their constitution allows a none muslim to be president.

What is a constitution? even the most weakest source will tell you, "that a constitution is a set of laws that a set of people have made and agreed upon for government".

 

- example ...kenya wrote a new constitution, debated in parliment for years by elected officials and then finally put it to a referendum, for the people to vote on! this is then a legal document in the eyes of the law because "it is a set of laws that a set people have made and agreed upon for government".

 

puntland..in your eyes is probably the center of the world, but legally puntland is nothing outside of garowe,qardo and bosaso. Your laws dont even apply in las canod, or eastern sanag for that matter.

 

You could write...KRUSTY THE CLOWN IS THE PRESIDENT OF PUNTLAND STATE OF SOMALIA and it would not mean anything to a man outside of garowe. So saxib you have to be logical and use reason. your constitution doesnt mean anything to Southern Somalia because the TFG's term is almost expired and the new Alshabab goverment dont recognise man made law, as for Somaliland they already have a constitution that was approved by a referendum.

In the finding/general provisionsnthe article you qouted are basis of the constitution- they set the seen! The qualification, it is implied! This is the most Shariah complaint constitution the country ever had.

 

It is constultation drfat constitution and each and every somali could submit their views towards improving it.
