ICU will win and how!

Recommended Posts

assalamu calaykum,

The ICU, the UIC, the Asmara group, the Al shabaab or more of inclusive name to use, xoogaga wax iska caabinta iyo dib-xoreynta Somaliyeed will win their struggle against the Ethiopian regime which seems to be in hot water.

It was the later days of the past year when the Ethiopian war machine steemrolled through Puntland towards Southern Somalia; their mission: to put to rest the momentary peace looming in southern Somalia.

As we are already aware, Ethiopia had plans to take action and interfere in Somalia's affairs in no secretive way offcourse back in 2005. They have alway interefed but this time they made it clear.

Regardless of whether or not the ICU attacked first the Ethiopian positions within somalia, it was clear that eventually Ethiopia backed by more powerfull emperilist, the United States would attack the ICU in their own base, Xamar.

In this past summer, we have all witnessed the set back for the progress of which most of us were really in full tune and excitment. However the war is not over yet and set back cannot be translated to a total defeat. These are series of events that are occuring in which their final turns are impending and may soon take the shape of military defeat for Ethiopia rather than later as as the regime in Addis Ababa is in deep trouble.

1. As we speak the opposition and what most of refer to as the liberators aka xoogaga wax iska caabinta iyo xoreynata somaliyeed are growing fiercer by the day.

-They have grown from hand grenade launching, simple hit and run missions, to full organized movement with snipers and shart shooters who have done severe damage to Ethiopian military officers.

The number of ethiopian deathes is mounting, the movement is growing everyday, and Ethiopia seems to be in desperate motion.

That is in Xamar all right, but that is not where Ethiopian troops are being given blood nose.

2. Just this past week, the ONLF(somalis as well) have successfully completed couple spectacular missions in which they have killed more than 200 Ethos are promised more to come. Just when you thought that the regime in ADdis have had enough, the world speculates that war between Ethipia and Eritrea is emminant.

Regardless of their outcome in Eritrea, the somalis will continue to fight until Ethiopia realizes it's better to turn their back and save face rather than fight determined, well spirited somali in his own backyard As history teaches us, the outcome is always the same, the determined who is fighting for the sake of his life and country always comes out victorious.

The longer Ethiopia stays in Somalia, the closer to the collapse of the regime led by Melez in Addis. This is history in the making that we all experiencing.

In the End, it will come down to two things. Full withdrawal of Ethiopian military (which unlikely as this is Africa), or forceful withdrawal of Ethiopian troops by way of being made to withdraw as result of being pursuid from every direction. Either way Somalia will be liberated and the xoogaga wax iska caabinta and the somali people will win and won't have to worry about Melez and his regime again for long time.

otherwise I would have answered: 'sily question has no answer' :D

But I will say where it's need the most, which is Southern Somalia where Ethiopian troops are present.

Wa Calaykuma Salaam Red Sea,

Excellent analysis bro. This is what I call reality-based observation as opposed to the laughable fantastical notions that one hears about here . Too sad, especially when it comes from supposedly grown men. A quick run-down of these fantasy-based rationalizations

-The weak crutch of foreign interference: The Saudis will save us ! No, maybe the Ugandans ! No, we need Uncle Sam ! No, forget foreign interference, we need to be a trusteeship/protectorate. No, we're incapable of ruling ourselves. Let us formally be colonized.

- The so-called dirin process: Let's talk. And talk. And talk some more. And hug each other. And hold hands. Let's talk with our beloved friends neighbors, the Ethiopians. And tell them how hurt we are by some of their, um, overenthusiastic peace-making initiatives . Let's ask them to kindly leave, and if they refuse, let's talk some more. When they kill, let's talk. When they rape, let's talk. When they ethnically cleanse us, let's talk. Let's make love, not war. As the old maah-maah went: Wiil talk kuma dhinto. Wiil love-uu ku dhashtaa, not war. Ahhhh, let's not use any inflammatory language like: Resistance. Independence. Justice. Honour. Thoroughbred. Let's use nice words like: Talk. Love. Flowers . giggling babies. Dirin. Friends. Neigbors. We're all Somalis, even the dhabodhilifs. Blue skies. Gardens. Ahhh, then we shall achieve bliss.

-When Somali militia A takes over the camel-grazing grounds of Somali militia B, it is justified for B to go to war and kill his fellow Somali. But when Ethiopians kill, rape, pillage, massacre, engage in genocide, intentionally target hospitals and civilian neighborhoods, doing all that with the support and manpower of a puppet government, then there should be 'dialouge' and 'dirin' and understanding and mutual respect and compromise. Yacni, we should be very strict about the boundaries of clannist power-plays, but when the entire country is under brutal occupation, we shouldn't move a finger......just talk. Those who dare move a finger against the Ethiopians are crazies.

Redka, abti, ma anaa waalan mase Isqancis-ville aa laga heesaa ? :D

^^ :D Talking of feel-good posts, here is something from me :D :

--No cause more just this this.

No war more noble than this.

Haddaan dhimano geeridu kolbay nolosha dhaantaaye;

Dhaqashiyo marbay kaa yihiin dharegtu xaaraane;

Nin dharbaaxa quudheed dugsaday dhaqashadeed maalye;

Dhashaadeey sugtaa xaajadaad dhawrataa abid e’

Death, if it befalls us, is at times nobler than to life;

Contenance and prosperity are things at times forbidden;

He whose shelter is shame shall have shame to harvest;

Victim will be the children of men who leave duty undone.

Dabka nimanka loo dhiibtayee ina dhex luudaaya;

Iyo xaajaduu nagu dhudhumin gaal dhafaar cadiba (madowba);

Aan ka dhimanno mooyee waxaan dhowranaan jirine;

Dhabarkayga maba qaadi karo dhaxalka ceebeed e’.

The men who within us walk, with arms of others to keep;

And to enforce the infidel’s tyranny measured down to us;

Have us nothing else to give except to die in a noble war;

Or inherit shame which I have no strength to shoulder.

The movement to liberate our Motherland is gathering momentum. The patriotic call to wage a noble war has been loudly heard. Men and women of honour have received it loud and clear and have answered it with an unreserved zeal of commitment. Only disgruntled few remain oblivious to it. The great poet’s resounding words of powerful reminder, has rekindled the flame of patriotism in the hearts of the proud. The best of our people have heeded the great poet’s advice, and have pledged an oath to partake in the struggle. Just like the great poet, we are ready and eager to march to a noble battle. We are the brave and blessed destined to lay claim to the greatest victory in our history. And;

Our history will only have golden medals to bestow

For we’re the sons of the motherland who bravely vow

To fight a war for justice, be gallant and give our lives

To protect the honour of our sons, pretty girls and wives

To fight for religion and God-given freedom of our lands

And for our nation bring victory with united bare hands

God stands with us and the devil on the tyrant’s side. It is good against evil, and good will reign supreme. Only the just stand sure-footed in the battleground. Te unjust heathens falter with gripping fear and stand with tembling knees. The just warriors have firedthe first bullet of war and has turned into a flaming missile in the eyes of the unjust heathens.

--end mode--

How about that? smile.gif

The ICU is dead and it aint coming back. History doesn't give anyone second chances. The least we you could do is support any Somalia fighting Ethiopian tyranny. And always remember the only thing lower than Ethiopian oppressor is Somali dhabodhilif.

Even though the occupiers are facing a great deal of casualties, there i isn't anything to celebrate about Somalia right know! The nation is heading for one of its worst humanatarian disasters ever. And the world will watch because this is the war against "terror" remember!

The ICU is dead and it aint coming back.

The ICU is simply a vehicle of change. They have fundamentally changed the fabric of Somalia with their historical Islamic Revolution in the summer of 2006. The principles and values they brought to action(not just muttered in mosques) is here to stay....for good. Somalia has turned the corner and there's no going back to the days of 'enlightened secularism'.
