Thankful Posted June 27, 2010 In other words, if, god forbid, Somaliland were as crisis-prone and politically dysfunctional as Somalia currently is, Somaliland, which is more tribally homogenous than the rest of Somalia AFP I think this article makes it clear why NW Somalia is not as "crisis prone." Thankful Posted June 28, 2010 Xaaji and all the rest of the NW Somalis, now photo's like this is what I am talking about! Indisputable evidence of the support that people have. You did it within the triangle but no where else. Maybe you didn't because you couldn't as the lines were too small. Anyways let me not take away from the topic, these are amazing pictures, it's nice to see that so many still have hope, especially among the younger generation. Ibtisam Posted June 28, 2010 ^^Somaliland Geesi waali turns up with a different flag, stands there and argues; Police: Sir you must leave Man: Leave, leave, why why? Police: You are getting too much attention and provoking some people Man: What? But they are here celebrating the independency of Somaliland, I just brought the updated flag with me . Police: No sir you must leave now Man: Okay, I will put back on my sitting room wall and return without it. P.s. The event looks very well organised, even Somali Police!!! Well done to them.
