The nomination of General Naaji as the chief of staff of the Somali national army by prime minister Ali M. Ghedi is a criminal act of treachery on the Somali nation. General Naaji was one of the commissioned officers by dictator Barre who carried out civilian massacres in Mogadishu, Lower shabeele, Lower Juba and Middle Juba during Siyad Barre's reign of terror in the 1990s. General Naaji's criminality and murderous acts are well documented in Somalia and he is not fit or deserve to be appointed as the chief of staff of the Somali national army.

Its true what Dayniile.com said about pro-Puntland websites and the fact that they always portray a negative image of Muqdisho. But, this is also true for the BBC, HornAfrik and other media outlets. How can you write "good" stories when the bad ones outnumber them?
