New President Silaanyo Must give proper representation to reer sool

this is one of the biggest thing Riyaale failed to address very badly, he didnt give proper representation to reer sool once it was fully bought under somaliland.

 

indeed UDUB didnt deliver for reer sool once reer sool kicked out puntland admin.

 

new government must give proper representation to sool community in the new admin and not token position like UDUB did this is unacceptable from an inclusive government.

 

also they must not give positions to hungury RAAC that go from puntland to somaliland to ssc they must be genuin people who will work hard to improve the lives of reer sool and develope this under developed region.

 

 

Another daming failure from UDUB has been that allocated funds for this region have gone to individuals that have wasted it and worse have put it in their own pockets. this must not be allowed to happy again. funds from central government and NGOS must reach this region and there must be accountability.

 

indeed UDUD failed this region badly once the millitary phase was over and riyaale was not honest about his promise to the people.

 

Finally Sool and especially las anod must be de-millitarised, the local police are more than capable of solving murders and small demos there is no need to have so much millitary hardware in the area.

 

finally its hight time somaliland created working and friendly relationship with our neibouring region of puntland, which is peacefull and the only function area.

Where ever Somaliland is heading to, normalisation and dialogue with neigbouring regions(Djibouti, Puntland, Somali region in Ethiopia and the South (Galmudug, Galguduud, TFG) should be a priority.

 

And I would even recommend (secret) talks and dialogue with ONLF, this would show the people good will and would make it easier to solve (tribal) clashes in Hawd.

 

And it would show Ethiopia that Somalilands has its own independant Foreign Policy. And if Ethiopia will not recongnize it, then that Somaliland seeks recongition from their brothers. Whish should they have done a long time ago.

Reer eastern sool are not under represented they are the one who did not took part of the parliamentary elections .That was the only way they could bring forward Mps in the Somaliland parliament to be represented in our house of representatives

Now in the next parliamentary election they should cast their vote so that they can be represented in our parliament.

No one is holding them back. I don’t know what other representation they are looking for

They are fishing wrong place. Since 1990, they were bribing unemployed Politian for SSC regions and giving positions, so did Puntland. That did not solve any problem.

 

Solution of SSC can only came from within SSC and their own political vision.

As I have stated before The somaliland Government has out manouvered the SSC group, whose whole mission depended on playing on the tribal (fake) pride of qurbajoog folks with ANOTHER CLAN OCCUPIES US.

 

now since since somaliland government opened formal negotiations with individual tribesfrom buhoodle and widhwidh regions it seems SSC group have been told publicly and privately to leave buhoodle and widhwidh area.

 

this SSC group who hoped for war so they can collect more money from folks abroad seem to have had their bluff called.

 

its check mate.
