Are Somalis better community outside the country than inside?

Nomads, we clearly need to do some serious soulsearching before history judges us harshly. Soon we might characterized as the only nation that failed to manage thier public affairs (governance) and hence became refugees, travelers and regions in other countries.

Have you ever wondered why Somali immigrants are seen by others as good communities in the UK, Findland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Toronto, Minneapolis, Columbus, Ohio, Lewiston, Maine etc. and not in Somalia? I think it is because others are in charge of public affairs in these far away places.

That is precisely. Soomaalida waxba iskuma ogola. I am not sure about the 'good community' in Galbeedka, laakiin they can stand dadka kale markee xukumayaan, but the moment a community organization la bilaabo, kala jab iyo isku tanaasul la'aan soo baxayaan. It is always like that. Galbeedka ma'ahee waa meel walba. Look at Imaaraadka, look at Kenya. Sidee ugu beecmushtaraan, ganacsigooda ugu sareeyo.

 

Soomaalida, in general, waa dad wanaagsan, kaliya isaamin la'aanta oo badanaa keeno cudurka qabyaalad la leeyahay ugu wacan. Haddee taas jiri lahayn meel sare dunida ka gaari lahayn maanta.

 

I have once read Norway imported the current royal family's patriarch some hundred or so years ago. They made him, a Dane foreigner from an autocrat family, a king and his lineage do still minimally rule Norway to this day. Other European countries have undertaken a similar, bold decisions like this.

 

So we as Soomaalis too need to import dad aanan Soomaali ahayn, shisheeye ah, completely from another continent, si kale Soomaali waa isku aamini weysee.

In a time where Somalia has been prominent primarily for gruesome intertribal warfare,famine and Anarchy it is difficult to picture it as the home of traders who were rather ''hard bargainers'' exchanging precious commodities such as myrrh,incense and spices for glass stones,clothing,grain,wine,tin,iron and gold and silver coins - Carol Meyer Sur less routes antiques

 

Fact of the matter is if NFD and SomaliGalbeed were allready part of Somalia in 1960 and not illegally given to other nations todays reality would have looked different and Somalia wouldn't have been so authoritarian in 70s and 80s and all of our rescources would have been put in many other sectors like education. The dictatorship might have never happened and Somalia today would have been in a much better state and at peace with it's neighbours

 

The Ancient Babylon/Akkad/Assyria/Abassid nation is today burning yet these same people are prosperous in other nations what does this mean? Iraqies are only productive in other nations? or are there external players putting fuel on the fire?
