Ex Somali President has had a taste of Yemeni tea according to unconfirmed reports that were re-laid to us by a our man in Sanca . “President Yusuf found the tea to be rich and not to his liking, because of his liver ailment he is quite sensitive to strong teas and does not drink coffee” the unnamed security official stated.

 

The source could not confirm nor deny if the Presidents wife or children had also tried the tea and could not for security reasons could not brief us on what the President thought of the Yemeni cuisine.

 

We were unable to contact President Yusuf or any members of his entourage to confirm or deny this report.

 

Ex Somali President Abdalla Yusuf Ahmed resigned from his post in late 2008 and has since traveled to Garowe and Galkacyu and is now in Yemen at the request of his long term ally and personal friend Ali Abdalla Salah [no relations].
