Remembrance Day for those who lost their lives for the sake of SL Independence

^^^^^ Riyaale is an ironically fitting outcome to an 18 year old lie.

Small correction. They were not fighting for the Independence of SL, that just happened to be a result of their struggle after their death. It is more correct to say they lost their lives for the sake of their families, justice and fairness.

Tell a lie often enough. No one soils the image of those martyrs more than the very ones who claim to honor them the most.

Died for independence kulaha. You lie!

Dude this is an internal affair, I am correcting them, adgiu maxaad kaa raabta icon_razz.gif

Riyaale is like a dot in Ocean, he is neither here nor there on the big scale of things, a passing traveler. They just need to make sure, he does PASS. :D

^To confine the number of Somalis who died 'liberating' their clan enclave or/and securing it's share of the National cake to those of the SNM is to rewrite the Somali rebel history. icon_razz.gif

:D

The challenge to that strategy is the fact Riyaale somehow managed to stay by willfully refusing to PASS :D . A challenge, if may add, Oodweyne warrior clan seem to have not anticipated much less prepare to overcome it.

Xiin, It is not that they did not anticipated, they did, they saw it coming. It takes them a while to get going. I for one think Riyaal wuu isk caarin much like his old boss. They (this said clan) will always do what is best for them IN THEIR OWN TIME. So lets not pretend that we know better or have their best interest at heart. Choas at this time is not the way forward, even if it means Riyaal gets a lift.

Ibti, to critique your strategy is not to wish chaos for the family. It is to show that politics are much complex than the mere slogans men like Oodweyne promote around here day in and day out.

Riyaale has a strong political coalition from the family itself. He has external backing from the region. And he played that SL ball artfully. To suggest he is a traveler is simply misunderstanding the rules of the game. Politics is never about a mere personality, it's about coalitions and this man has a strong one.

^Oodweyne supports his uncle Cawil he is therefore a Riyale supporter by default. He is part of the Riyaale :D coalition

It's Ibti that has been disappointed

Xiin: IT may seem so to an outsider looking in, but if push comes to shove and the money dries up, nin walbo knows his place. Any coalition in the Somali contexts is TEMPORARY and only valid while their interests are aligned. IF his coalition WAS/is so strong the election would’ve taken place already, ironically, the delayed has only made his coalition shrink. Too bad the opposition cannot capitalize on his demise well enough.

BTW when I said he is a traveler, it was not a reference to his clan, rather that any leader is only here for mere number of years, and hence their legacy does not define a country or its people.

^^Do you know Oodweyne is part of Riyale coalition? And by logical deduction NGONGE is also in Riyaale coalition.

Tells you how strong his coalition is.
