Mogadishu: signs of stability a basketball game :PICS

While many of those who are agaianst peace always highlight the negetive aspects of life in Somalia in general and Mogadishu in particular, there are many signs that stability is making a comeback after 17 years. We have highlighted already the police, security forces as well as the opening of our embassies across the globe.

 

Now an example of stability a packed basketball game, a girls basketball game in the city the "Al-kebaab" clowns banned sports.

Duke brother, slow down with so many positive articles from Mogadishu! AU soldiers...basketball games, embassies opening. You will destroy the dreams of those that want instability i.e. secessionists and criminals!

 

But seriously, these pics must be shown to the world and those that think Mogadishu is in chaos. Don't get me wrong there are people who have never wanted a Federal government and have been fighting for almost 2 decades, but would all these people have time to come out and watch a basketball game if it was as bad as the media makes it out to be? Would a country send troops to a city supposedly racked by violence? The TFG must focus on winning the media war though!
