Keynaan2. The new Kings power is to keep order within the family and families, to give voice to their concerns and to keep traditional customs alive.

 

We in Somalia have a number of royal families, however the title is now less political than symbolic.

 

In Puntland the elders, are well respected they also have played a key role in maintaining order and bringing the various clans closer together.

 

That we all would agree is a wonderful thing.
