A short story between male and female lions and an old frail elephant

 

Kulmiye’s recent fiasco falls to the category of this short virtual story between the two lions and the old frail elephant. And I will share the readers how the majority perceive Kulmiye’s ignominy.

 

The individuals and the places that the story portrays are as follow.

 

The Richland is (Somaliland’s presidential palace)

And the killer lion is the current SL leader (Mr Rayaale)

The frail elephant is Kulmiye’s ageing leader (Mr Siilaanyo)

Abdirahman Aw Ali and Abdirahman Saylici are the male and the female lions.

 

 

Story begins

 

Once upon time an old frail elephant and two lions where living in a small and uninhabitable wild desert. The two lions were female and male lion. So one day the frail elephant couldn’t take any longer the difficult and the conditions that he was in. Then he came to consult with the two lions. He told them that there was a place which was more hospitable than where they were living in at the time.

 

Then the two lions asked the elephant where that might be;

 

So he begun to explain and he said there is place call Richland which is more hospitable than this desert. In that place said the frail elephant there is plenty to hunt for you such as gazelles and zebra/buffalos. Also said the frail elephant, there is a big river for me to splash myself and plenty to eat. And if we succeed to get there we will live a comfortable life.

 

Then the two lions displayed full of enthusiastic and anticipation and they could not wait any longer, so they said let us go and show us where that is. And they gave the frail elephant some great reassurances by saying we will feed you forever if you take us this Richland place

 

But old elephant responded composedly and said not so fast my friends there is one obstacle which may prevent us to go this place, so we need to discus how we could over come this obstacle. So they asked again what that would be. And he started to explain what the obstacle was, and he said my friends in this place which I discover after I retired there are no other predators except one strong male lion call (killer lion) who dominated this Richland’s forest and that is why no other predators live there.

 

The two lions shouted by saying is that it? Don’t you see we are two strong lions? Or is there something else which you haven’t told us yet?

 

Then the old elephant said yes there is one other thing. The place can’t accommodate all three of us and I can only take one of you there. So you should first get resolution for which one of you will come with me.

 

The two lions look each other showing immediate disunity, then each of them started to fight their corner individually, and the male lion started by saying take me my dear friend.

 

Then the female lion, said no take me my dear great friend.

 

So the frail elephant had two reach a decision and he said I can only take the one that has good tricks which we can use against this killer. And he turned to the male lion and asked what his tricks would be.

 

Then the male lion said what do you need about tricks don’t you see I am strong mail lion. If you show me this so called killer lion I will break his neck instantly.

 

So it was the turn of the female lion and the frail elephant said my dear female lion what help would you give me to defeat this killer?

 

And the female lion said that is easy. As you know I am female and the killer lion you mentioned is male so first he will not feel threaten by me then with my female nature I will make him to trust me and when I get his trust I will seduce him and breed his cubs then while he is busy caring his cubs I will get my other cubs in the wild and together will get ride of this killer lion together. And you should also bear in mind that as a female lion I breed the majority cubs in this wild so I will get more help from them.

 

But the male lion quickly dismissed the female lion’s wild claims by saying, who’s the man in the wild who made possible for you to breed these cubs, don’t you know I am the possessor of everything you have. Adding furiously don’t you forget you are my property too?

 

Nevertheless the frail elephant became amused by the female lion’s idea and said I will take you (female lion) because I believe even though our fried here the (male lion) is strong, I don’t think however we can defeat the killer lion only by force. So we need a female lion like you who can trick the killer lion. And the frail elephant chose the female lion in order to get rid of the killer lion from the Richland.

 

But will they succeed.
