PasserBy Posted August 5, 2010 Ibrahim Hussein (left), chairperson of United Western Somali Liberation Front (UWSLF), and Sheferaw T. Mariam, minister of Federal Affairs, are having a delightful conversation after the signing of the agreement on the termination of the state of insurgency on July 29, 2010, in Ghion Hotel’s Sheba Hall. The agreement calls for UWSLF to stop its insurgency and for the government to release the UWSLF members who are in prison and initiate rehabilitation and assistance for the integration of members into society. It was hailed as a heroic step and a demonstration of mature leadership, according to the minister of Federal Affairs.
