Are you not Muslim yourself, why singling yourself out of Somalis, Palestinians or others, whaterver their mistakes that you are allowed to warn against through Islamic knowledge and the proper terminology (Haaram, Makruuh etc) instead of "spin", "savage" etc?

 

Last but not least, only a Jaahil or Non-Muslim would separate Islam, or submission (to Allah's Shariah), from "politics" as it is well known that Islam encompass every sphere, if only as a starting point...

Most of the killings inside Mogaidisho , according to the recent Human rights report resulted from inter-clan conflicts fighting over resources and control of strategic areas.

 

If anything the government has done in the past 8 months was to resolve their issues and to examine the root causes of those real cases in order to bring to justice the perpetrators if not support the feuding clans' customary reconciliation process.

 

At most, we are out of touch with the reality on the ground and it will merely be naive assumption to base the level analysis on this conflict on two humungous entities that are at war with one another over the control of Mogadisho.

 

The Al-shabaabs happens to be one unit out of many, but their bark is louder than the wildest of all dogs and they scavenge worse than predators. They could be early young bandits who reverted to their old habits of drug-usage.

Some SOmalis are clearly following the methodolgy of Abu Mussab Al Zarqawi. These forces were capable of isolated incidents such as digging up graves and the attrocious killing of aid workers in Somaliland. What has propelled these men to fame and influence is simply the SOmalis that became mecenaries for Americans and Ethiopian war on terror policy. The rise of Alshabab/ Ceyrow has a direct correlation with the founding of the Anti Terror Alliance and the more importantly the intervention of Ethio forces.Before that these were relative nobodies......... Those that condemn such activities and cry terrorism are still calling for the same old solutions and recipe to the problem: give us more guns uncle sam and general Gabre. Perhaps they don't realise this is what is causing such ideologies to occur and flourish in the first place.
