According to Atom (in his widely circulated interview) the man (ducaale) was killed in battle, but faroole claimed to have captured him for PR purposes.

^^^According to the Atom supporters this man was killed in captivity by the PIS. Thus the truth is in the middle, he was captured after the battle wounded and then died of his wounds.
