EU promise to pay the salary of the Somali Parlamantarians

This story does not make sense. EU was already paying for the salaries of the MP's since the formation of the TFG parliament . Why should it be news now?

Norway was supporting the MP's, now the EU has joined in. Thus far the AU, US and EU have come on board with more promises from the Arab world.

We are not a mere province or a mere clan. The TFG represents all Somalia with its millions of people, many armed factions and thus far its doing well.

Somalia must begin to exercise its own sovereighty by paying its OWN bills.

Beneath the sands of Somalia is an ocean of oil wealth that will never be used to address Somalia's poverty. It will be siphoned off by foreign so-called "investors" only to further impoverish the poor natives of the land.

The gov't should establish a long-term fund for oil exploration and drilling so Somalians can benefit totally from its own resources.
