It's puzzling, it really is, how is the resistance in mogadishu continuing to fight on? tacticly they don't have a readily accessible source of supply. Traditionally when somali factions are at war, they get there supplies through Ethiopia, in this conflict Ethiopia is out of the question for obvious reasons. Kenya is allied with Ethiopia and the U.S. as always, so than where? I think its unprecedented,

they just might be fighting on pure guts and adrenaline.

This is a rotten carcass of graceful city. It’s not the wreckage and the ruins of its once elegant buildings that are distressing the most; rather, it’s the dearth and the sheer emptiness of its streets and markets that I find quite painful! This large, exodus of our population will be, I would reckon, the most consequential of the Somali civil war.

What is rotten is the supposed TFG troops. Young men whose lives have been waste and suffering from many a psychological problems. The true test is going to be how to take them from society and rehabilitate them.

Despite the dramatic images of death and ruin, I did notice a glimpse of sanguinity in the eyes of these folks. Insha Allah the nation will recuperate from the damage, and the distressed people of Mogadishu will find peace and freedom from strife.
