The return of the Sharifs & the Xasan’s is a blessing for the TFG.

 

Coming out of the closet as one might say regarding the reemergence of the defeated clan courts leaders has given a surprised windfall to the TFG and its aims of totally securing the nation and returning a working government to Somalia.

 

How so one might ask?

 

Simply by focusing the world’s attention to the, “real plight” of Somali’s, that of outside negative interference contrary to the needs of the Somali people as well as the international communities plan for stabilization.

 

The TFG will now have a face to put behind all its recent troubles with regards to security, Aferwarki, Xasan Dahir, Turki and the other usual suspects. Eritrea is no longer hiding its real, deep and consistent support to the criminal networks & desperate groups it is trying to portray as a rebel national movement. The shadow of the ever present excuse for “terror” will also be used to focus the minds of western nations and China in terms of developing our young security forces as well as national institutions.

 

The TFG will no longer have to explain that its fighting home grown clan insurgents, but ones trained by Abu Mansuur al Ameriki [what a name] in the bushes. Those foreign fighters will give the security forces an edge in dealing with all sorts of trouble makers.

 

Getting rich

 

No doubt Sharif Xasan & Ahmed will get some money from gullible Diaspora supporters and some shadowy networks under their new titles of “Liberators”, yet this money will not go past their bank accounts and will have no effect in the great game in Mogadishu.

 

Crackdowns of Xasan Turki and his movement will become something common place and used to cripple all opposition. Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Sudan & Yemen will further give support as a means of isolating Aferwarki and his delusions.

 

We are already feeling the windfall of the Xasan’s and the Sharif’s ever constant ********* and selfishness. Long may it continue.

NGOONG, fear of what, this recent movement is posative for the TFG as have outlined above.

The opposition is foreign based, with Eritrea's Christain boss as head. Its not a religious movement, but a somewhat confused mix of interest, personality and as the world will see it "terror".

 

Domesticly, the people will see Eritrea's involvement and the foreign fighters as a vindication of the TFG's position of getting as much outside military support as possible.

 

Externally; the local neighbourhood will do their utmost to isolate Aferwarki and his troubles and the threats against Ethiopia, Kenya and so on will only push their support for TFG deeper.

 

Its a win, win situation for us. Even the Americans will come out more hawkish than before.

It is a blessing that the ARS has spoken out in support of diplomatic solutions. The TFG and ARS should enter into power sharing talks immediately, in the spirit of Ramadan.
