RedSea Posted August 14, 2008 Despite all the diplomatic outcries from the whitehouse and European nations such as France, the Russian government continues its operations in Georgia, its ground forces continue to creep closer and closer towards the Georgian capital of Tblisi. The big question is if all diplomatic means fail and say Russians capture and overthrow the pro Western government of Georgia. And from that point the U.S and its allies come to the defense of Georgia, then who wins that war?
juma-nne Posted August 14, 2008 The war would be devastating. But am sure the west would easly overun Russians. All in all Lets not pray for such a conflict to happen. As you may know currently Russians posess the highest number of Nuclear warheads more than even the US. Am sure western nations would rather let Georgia go than risk such a conflict. However the cold war would startall over and who knows what the qusequences would be.
