MR ORGILAQE Posted August 4, 2005 Let me clarify something for you guys.Puntland is an autonomous region in Somalia and therefore is part of Somalia and is Somalia. So all puntlanders are going to carry the Flag of somalia, pasport of somalia etc you get the idea
N.O.R.F Posted August 4, 2005 So what is the reason for a Puntland Passport? ps from your post, are you saying Somaliland is not a part of Somalia (as you havnt mentioned anything or attached anything relating it to being a part of Somalia) and thus has its own Passport? Orgilaqe, nice to see us both on the same side of the fence

Suldaanka Posted August 4, 2005 Hello Tolstoy! How are you doing brother. Very well said brother. But dhagii ilaahay waaniyo ayaa waansan. But in any case, the caravan shall roll on. MR. CAAMIR You can have your opinions as you wish but the fact of the matter is that Somaliland and Djibouti have reached a series of agreements in the pass few years which included among other things the normalisation of relations, the stablishment of trade offices and the recognition of Somaliland passport as a valid travel document. I dont know if you did listen to it on BBC but even the Djibouti foreign Minister confirmed the list of agreements. This is not however to say that Djibouti has "FULLY" recognised Somaliland but that is the direction the wind is blowing. The Somaliland Diplomatic Passport is travelled by Somaliland officials and is accepted as a valid travel document for entry to the USA, Canada, UK and a number of other European countries including Denmark, Sweden, France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. It is also accepted in a number of African Union member countries. Somaliland has come a long sxb and there is no returns but look forward.

Afhayeenku waxa kale oo uu xusay inay jireen xidhiidho hore oo wada-hadalkaasi daba socday, dawladda Maraykankuna ay beryahan dambe danaynayso arrimaha Somaliland. Hase yeeshee, Afhayeenku ma sheegin war intaa dhaafsiisan. Dhinaca kalena, warar aanu ka soo xiganay illo kale oo dawladda ka tirsan ayaa iyana tibaaxay in labada Wasiir ay kula kulmayaan Jabuuti wefti Congress-ka Maraykanka ka socda, kaas oo ay sheegeen inuu qasdigiisu yahay sidii Maraykanku uu u caawin lahaa wadamada Bariga Afrika. Wararkaasi waxay intaas ku dareen, in sidaa daraadeed ay labada Wasiir iyo weftigaasi ka wada hadli doonaan sidii Somaliland looga caawin lahaa dhinaca horumarinta. king_450 Posted August 11, 2005 IMHO, what you mean Djabouti accepts somali land ? Haven't you taken a civic classes back home,or they don't teach that anymore. Somali land existed even before Djabouti became an independent nation ,so who is who accepting?
Duufaan Posted August 11, 2005 this is simply joke, however, In the long run, Somaliland should be deal with. One way or another.Their dream is collision course, the co existence of Somali people. simply we can not afford it.
Elysian Posted August 12, 2005 Babysteps in the right direction, and inshaAllah we’ll be our own sovereign nation one day... we just need to have patience and we’ll get there. I was wondering by the way, if a non-somali wants to enter the country, does he have to have visa, because my japanese colleague might join me next year when I go to somaliland.
