General Duke Posted August 4, 2007 What happened to the "Jihad" and to the promises of war? What happened to the idea of "never" to Ethiopia the "historic enemy" the country that "occupies" Somalia and so on? All hot air, I guess. The assasins of Mogadishi and child bombers are getting desperate.

BiLaaL Posted August 4, 2007 Nothing has been confirmed as yet. However, even if true; it only further demonstrates the political astuteness of the ICU in that it has decided to engage the real administrators of Somali affairs instead of wasting their time with the puppet regime led by AY. The ICU won't forsake their principle goals. They've demonstrated this time and again, beyond any reasonable calibration. This news, if true, shames the Ethiopian government more than it does the ICU. It shows that the ICU have inflicted enough damage on Zenawi, forcing him to seek dialogue in a desperate attempt to save face and limit the increasing pressure on the military, both financially and in terms of casualties among personnel. Know they are looking for an escape out of Somalia, due to the rising tide of Somali resistance in the Ocaden province.
General Duke Posted August 4, 2007 ^^^looooooooool. I like the reaction to this news. Its another strategic retreat correct? Brilliant stuff, they vowed to fight then ran, they promised to hold Mogadishu then claimes "massacre". They were full of bravado and now reduced to this? Talk to Ethiopia like Ahmed Diriye group, talk to Ethiopia all you like it wont change a bit. Things have changed. Its the TFG that runs Somalia. Just dont piss of the only hand that feeds you now. Aferwarki and Eritrea. Geel-Jire Jihad is one led by Aferwarki in the Coptic Church

Juje Posted August 4, 2007 Duke dont get over exited sxb, if this is true or even materialises then you are in loss. Ethiopia will merge with an entity that can do something about Somalia, and adeerka 'darishaada' ayu ka baxa. But then again this is a story created my the Axmaro stooges in order to undermine the 'maxakamiin'.

I believe they sent sum ppl to meet the courts in Djibouti and apparently they or third parties set out some conditions to Shariff in Yemen and Nairobi which he rejected at the time. Jacaylbaro Posted August 4, 2007 The same conditions are still there ,,,,, any agreement is a compromise from the ICU
