Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar Posted June 1, 2007 What do you see in this map, created in mid and early 1800s? Taken long before European gumeysidoon arrived most of the continent. You see something on Soomaali lands. All the Soomaali lands are united, including Soomaali Galbeed, put on same colour. The only current land missing is in deep southwest, NFD and some parts of Jubbooyinka, which Soomaali expansion had not reached as a full then. If you even look closer, the lands of Xabash and Soomaaliya are not coloured the same. Yes, take a look again. The Xabash lands is coloured more light blue, in their historical small respective land. Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar Posted June 2, 2007 I even hear Adiss Ababa is not even theirs(historically)? Haa, magaalo Oromo ayee ahayd oo la dhihi jiray Finfine. Late 1800s ayee Xabashadda qabsatay oo magac cusub ula baxday, Adisababa. It is within Oromo boundary, not Amxaar [Xabashta].
