Zafir Posted September 3, 2007 LoL..Aduun wax waliba waad arki, how is it that she can breast feed though? The article suggests that her children are older.
sheherazade Posted September 3, 2007 She's been at it it for years, dear, probably started at a time she was feeding her youngest girl. I refuse to re-read it but it may have been 4 years. Talow wali ma wada. Oouuc ila dheh.

N.O.R.F Posted September 4, 2007 She is a Hindu. Full stop.
Nehanda Posted September 4, 2007 And your point Northerner is?! Just because this is not the norm does not justify to be prejudice or for her to be ridiculed. I applaud her for taking such measures to save the monkey's life.
N.O.R.F Posted September 4, 2007 "This is not a pet, this is my son. Please get that right," she insists. "I did not have a son. God finally gave me one," says Namita, as she continued to breastfeed the monkey. Not to be ridiculed you say? Hindus and their respect for animals tends to go a little too far for my liking hence why I made that comment.
NGONGE Posted September 4, 2007 ^^ Not even Hindus would adopt a monkey, saaxib. It's more likely that this woman is mad. The BBC is dumping down!

sheherazade Posted September 4, 2007 ^what are u suggesting! Nehanda, it's a little beyond saving don't you think? She's sees it as her son. Perhaps she needs saving.
Nehanda Posted September 4, 2007 Ok so maybe the woman sounds loca to some of us but I honestly don't see what the fuss is. As far as she is concerned she found this poor bereft needy monkey and she became attached and decided to adopt him. Some people get attached to other things beside human for instance men and cars. Besides what's with all the monkey topics lately with SOL?
sheherazade Posted September 4, 2007 She could have become attached without getting attached, you know.
