Emperor Posted June 22, 2009 This is not the stance of Puntland administration per se but that of some politicians, Business men and Intellectuals of reer Puntland.... As to the call, I completely agree with them, the intervention of any foreign country wouldn't improve the situation of Mogadishu or Somalia, we will witness more murder and bloodshed as AS would never concede and may gain popular support from many areas should a foreign force which will only complicate the political landscape of Somalia arrive... General Duke Posted June 22, 2009 Puntland position is one I agree with. The state gave much support to the south and was rewarded with insults and threats and hyperbole. Al Shabaab and Hizbul Clowns group are a monster created by the southern groups and their Diaspora. They must deal with it. Puntland is 100% correct tp stay out of this fitna. It is fair to say that is a very shortsighted approach. Group like this are a threat for everyone. They are not going to limit themselves to south-central somalia. This is not a home grown movement. It is organized and funded primarily by outsiders. you know full well, there is a much bigger agenda, that goes well beyond this region at play here. no one can sit on the fence and come out looking good at the end.
