Lets not start some nonsense here lads.

There is no dispute here between clans or groups in the state. There are criminal groups setting up operations for what ever reason. The news thus far has been consistent and clear, two men shot an MP, they were chased from the scene and caught. There is nothing disputing this.

 

Lets not get into sub clan finger pointing, and lets not defend a criminal act that will undermine our state and hurt our poor people.

Anyways, the issue about where these killers came from will be answered Insha'Allah. For the first time eye witnesses identified them and they were quickly arrested. We will learn more about who they are and what their motives were.

 

Many are saying that these men were upset that the killings in Qardho and Bosasso a few months ago were being dealt with by dialogue and that these men wanted start it up again and blame others so a feud would begin. For some the PIS has become a scapegoat for everything. Blaming them for this crime shows that they are paranoid.

 

For me, no matter who committed this crime it seems everyone is agreeing that it was Puntlanders that did it, no one else. This is by far the most concerning issue. President Faroole has his hands full and needs to really do something about this. A minister in Gaalkayo, Parliamentarians in Garoowe and Bosasso, a Judge in Bosasso. The Governor of Kakaar. We are seeing this happening in all major cities.

 

It is as if their is no respect for the government.

I think you do undrestand web sites are clannish portals, and not news portals. It does not matter what Horseed or Laasqoray write and wont have effect on the ground as who killed the slain mp.

 

Puntland security will remain shaky unless an integrated security apparatus that serves the interest of the state is set up. Puntland does not have one today.

Allah ha u naxaristo the xidhibaan. This issue is now getting ridiculous. They have the suspect in custody, which is positive news that the community is "working" with the government. I expect the police to find out "who sent these ppl" and "why" and are they interlinked with the other issues in puntland. Maybe cut a deal for lenient sentence to get the information out of them if necessary. Once it is known 100% why and who sent them with no speculations, the puntland admin should quickly find solution.

 

If it turns out to be a family dispute, Quickly begin the process of dialogue between the two clan families and bring about a resolution.

This seems to be more than a clan dispute, but thus far the suspects are in custody and strong measures are required. Violent crime is becoming a norm in even developed countries now.

Those who blame the PIS and point fingers at this institution, are the same groups who used to say a year ago we had no "terror" problem in south Somalia and it was the "Ethiopians". The fact is the state is being attacked, this never happened in our short history.

I really like farole and his visions, but honestly we can't be having assasinations every second day, it is totally unacceptable.

 

What makes the matter worse everyone is speculating. Some are saying clan dispute, some are saying shabab, some are saying disgruntled politicians. Why are we speculating? Isn't it upon the PIS to actually intelligence before this sort of stuff happens?

 

How many times does an assasination need to happen before they find out who and what is responsible? It's slow response time from farole admin and been going on for nearly 2 months now.

 

Just watch farole, he won't say a word for at least "3" days as per his custom.
