Salaamz, just doing some research

and wanted to ask this question.

 

Can you list what comes first to you in order of priority (greatest to least) in terms of goals/things that you want to do ???

 

These are the choices:

 

1. Marriage

2. Education

3. Children

4. Career

 

What can't you do without? and what can u compromise to get something else?

 

Just trying to gather some research, inshallah.

Also Can you list your age group.

e.g. 14-17

18-20

21-24

25-30

30+

As far as goals and aspirations

 

*Career

*Take my parents to Haj

*Explore the world (tour)

*Assemble an organzation to benefit the needy, the homeless, the handicapped (community wise) if all goes well am lookin abouts to franchisin it. (give something back in other words)

*Visit my homeland (somalia)

*Be more religious

*Get married

*Have kids, a dozen for all i care lool (j/k)

*Be a good parent,friend and a wife

*Inspire my kids to look beyond the concrete lines and help em follow their goals,dreams

 

 

That about does it.

career doesn't bother me in this stage coz my husband will work and i will take care of kids and take care of him

Well, you prioritize what's left.

For example if you already got an Education and Career under your belt. Then, in logical order you would have

Marriage

Children then your age range

21-24

Career: A chosen profession or occupation which one specifies in. Ex: Doctor, Phamarmacist, Teacher etc. Which mostly requires getting higher education to be more knowledgable at that chosen field.

oh, I see. So it's not just any job you can land after finishing school.

 

I was always under the impression that it would take about 5 to 10 yrs of hard work and dedication you can truly be settled into a career.

 

my math may be off but, if I add that to the 4-8 years of school and the average age of 20, some of you may be looking to get married at age 35-40.

is this accurate?
