Only garad missing from that nairobi conference that wasn't present was "garad jamac". It doesn't appear their is any new government but appears that they are firmly puntland. Cowke Posted January 7, 2010 Well unfortunately alot of the ssc news agency have been excellent at spinning stuff as to cause trouble between two clan families. The reality of the situation is. That 95% of the garads are confirmed as staunch puntland. The only remaining lame duck is garad jamac and i am sure when he comes to bossaso, he will be confirmed in the club also. Didn't you read the article about the conflicts they met with the diaspora especially the ones in the emirate. Mind you the most successful somalis are all based in emirates not london or toronto. If they want money for this to happen, they need the emirate diaspora to financially back it and they said "NO". End of story for garad jamac. He will be in bossaso in 1 week time. Mark my words!!! Simply the reason they came to Bossaso is to unite all garaads/isims and other leaders. So no surprise if Grand Garaad Jama shows in Bosaso or else where in that area. You can see ETN TV live of the garads coming down from bossaso, meeting with the puntland officials and holding press conference and "AFFIRMING" their allegiance to puntland. They said that websites have misinterpreted what their whole meeting was about in nairobi which was. 1. Unity of the ssc people 2. Liberation of Las Canood They affirmed that the liberation of Las Canod is a duty that must be shared by all puntland ppl and once done it is back to puntland as usual.
