Gabbal Posted June 1, 2005 I understand this situation is not the best of examples, but I thought it was interesting how objective clans or sub-clans are taking it upon theirselves to judge between warring clans. A remodeled way of doing things which is reminiscent of the traditional pre-civil war way of dealing with clan conflicts. A good example of the traditional Somali problem solving methods. P.S. Sorry for the heavy dose qabyaalad in this particular article (all things concerning Somalis having aheavy dose of qabiil to be honest), but my ujeeda is to get a discussion going on our abilities to dhex-dheexad ourselves without resorting to the barrel of a gun.
