SNM were a rebel movement. Thier job was to fight and kick tailes. Somaliland no longer needs to being rescued from anyone, so they are jobless.

 

They have cleared the way for young minds, politicians to take care of the rest. As you know the barrel of the gun doesn't bring progress.

BTW...Those some of the members of SNM who had skills both intellectually or militarily are mostly serving. Siilaanyo is all about you know but there is alot of them even including the health minister. In addition Hadraawi was also a member of the SNM. The SNM (survivors) are living off the fruit which they had sacrificed their lives for. They have gotten free, peaceful somaliland in return. That is all they could ask for. If you are saying they should be given state benefits, yes I sure agree to that, but this is Somaliland not some rich western Country. Meantime, they just have to enjoy the peace which they have brought( By Allah's cause offcourse).
