NABAD x 3 Posted January 29, 2009 Somalia united = Peace and presperity. We are united and there is no peace neither prosperity. I was always a real believr of SOMALIWEYN but look where we are today, still there are people who would give their own lives to duisrupt every government formed. People like Mr Piret who falsley cry for Somali state, but would distrory the minute its formed.Look at Djibuti today, imagine if it joined Greater Somalia in 1977, it would've been rubles by now, and its people would've been refugees around the world, but they made a smart move by not joining the anarchy. GO PUNTLAND GO, ALLAH MACAK. The only reason the pple of SSC and SHB (sanaag, Haylaan and galbeeedka Bari) are part of puntland is being part of the bigger basket "SOMALIA" Garaad Bari Where is the bigger basket is taking us to? its almost 20 years and the bigger basket is ripped, and leaking. If I was Faroole I would've suggested a refrendum in all parts of Puntland inclucin SSC, and see if the people of those regions still favour to be part of Greater Failed State of Somalia. Libaax-Sankataabte Posted January 29, 2009 What is Faroole's exact quote in the audio? I am sure the text article posted by the thread owner doesn't contain anything even close. Did he say "we will go where Somaliland went" as it relates to this process (Boycott and don't work with the goverment) or did he talk about declaring "independece"? Someone please summarize for those of us who didn't listen to the audio.
NABAD x 3 Posted January 29, 2009 Libaaxa, the Guy said it clearly " If the international community keeps ignoring Puntland, and not consulting us with the Djibuti process then we will declare independency, as it was the case of Somaliland" LOUD and CLEAR. The way Somaliland see it: Somaliland long ago in 1991 declared their independence, therefore Somaliland is not "boycotting" a process which they have nothing to do with. If anyhow North-East Somalia refuses to take part of the D-Jiboutie conference then they will be "boycotting" the process.
