General Duke Posted May 19, 2010 ^^^The system has been broken since Djibouti's nonsense. Not really bothered, however Mohamed Abdirizaq will not be a problem for Puntland, for the remaining few months of the Sharif Hotel/Walid Abdalla circus.

Amistad Posted May 19, 2010 InshAllah. It is just so tragic to the people though, it really is beyond words sometimes. I think the people of Somalia have every right to be a little angered with Sharif. I can count on one hand what he has done, but would need a crowd of peoples hands to count what he hasn't done. One of the worst things he hasn't done is the area of basic govt survival, and thats security. He should have secured the $10M worth of weapons the U.S. gave him, and he should make sure his soldiers always receive their proper pay, and on time. Should not be that difficult, and I cant imagine why this hasn't happened. Even if he survives the fallout of this politically, he may not survive it physically due to bad security practices.
