Hibo Posted February 10, 2002 I am the romeo of Somali girls and no one makes then say "I LOVE YOU" to guy they've just met than me. I have been out with many Somali girls and what makes me sick is not me being played or disrepected by a Somali girl, but it is seeing brothers getting frustrated over the girls. Girls want them but they don't wonna show it and that leads them(girls) becoming GUUMEYSYAAL, lol. I did dated and even got many of the girls calling the perfect hubby,(not yet ready for it though) and i never felt insecure or even left out. So Girls, why refuse to talk to guys easily coz you know atlast you will end up with them. To the last sister, Hey Somali guys are so respectable and they do treat girls like queens, it only you girls who can't behave like you are treated. Realise how good Somali men treat you now or even treated for many centuries. The problems are being exagerated by the so-called feminine activists wannabe mis-educated ladies, leading the good girls to blind ambitions. I prefer those wannabe feminine activists to turn to themselves and get themselves husbands who are women lol. ( i used to live in india). she really looked at me and sinse i always cautious to greet somali girls and see and decide seconds if she is those types who retained somali ladies of thinking, i mean usually checking the facial expression as opposed my earlier times in which i automatically smile and greet the ladies first , she showed a good signal that is looks friendly. I said hallo how are you doing in english, since I tought she is hindian. she laughed and said waa nabad,, .. oooh, waxaan ku idhi" raali ahow wallaal hindiyad baan kuu maleeyey!!". she smiled and says:: " adiga keligaa maa ah dadkoo dhan baa saa i yiraahdaa"" iyadoo taabanaysaa timaheedii dheeraa, oo sida hindida oo kale u laalaada.. anigu baska yaan ku socday iyaduna dukaan soomila ah bay ka soo iibsanaysey hilib .. makrii aan ka degney elevatorka iyo inta u dhaxaysey meesha aan ku kala leexanayno waxaa u dhaxayse 8- 10 minutes.. waan sii sheekaysanay .. waxaan u is dhaafsanay information badan oo naftayda iyo teeda ah .. wax shukaansi ah aniga iguma jirin laakiin u fiirso sida aan daqiiqado yar isu fahanay.. bal hadda barbar dhig tii baska.. .. one thing the poeple are not one person,however, you are right some girls changed dramatically and dispaly odd manners , but some girls retained the ingredient of good courtesy, and behave well when they see a somali male.. however, those who those who has been fed a bulshit fiminism and can see it nonsenses are really few, and even them selves some are really nice but majority of them .. they got a twisted mentallity... to najma : well that was the point i was talking about and the lady some way or the other skipped the point and replied an out of context way.. however, i didnot obssesed the somaliland, that is place i grow up, and i know most of its political, social, litrature, and norms. more importantly, its dramatistspoets, produced great deal of works of litrature than any somali inhabited regions that deals the pysocological, and social themes that some one can see as a window of somali sociaty .. what i know other somalis is that those whom i met, thier histories, and thier general politics.. also, those those i met althoug alot of them, dont give me the depth I need.. i only lived in mogadisho, 9 months.. but why you are so sensetive about it??? lol.. Hibo Posted February 12, 2002 listen brother mj, see i was born n raised in kenya n don't get me wrong all of ma relatives are from that place u call somaliland which i first heard of in 2000. seriously aboowe, ain't nuting wrong with saying somethin about somaliland, but u got the whole idea wrong trying to put us into differnt categories saying somaliland this or that. i think many nomadz would apreciate if u just stopped this segregation between our people. i don't know nuting about somaliland n right now, believe me the only think we need right now is more unity instead of separation that u keep reminding us everyday. no offence intended, walaahi i have nuting against somaliland n it is where most of ma relatives live, but brothah plzzz don't ya think we need to encourage more unity among us, to better ourself. this place is just 4 us to talk n share our experiences n stuff not how u grew up in somaliland or this or that, cuz it don't make a differnt, u r somali not a somalilander lol. see, i think we all just need to chill n put our differnces aside. it only bothers me, cuz i told u already, this place should be more about unity n somalis in general n plzz lets not divide each other. we are a very unique people with same religion n culture n thats what makes us even more unique. so i hope u understand where am coming from. peace. It is a matter of mutuality, when wants to be taken out she is meant to see around and to interact with the world not locked in a car and a fancy dinner!. I have a car but i prefer to take the tube or the bus, why? coz it is much interactive and saves the world from the pollution. For your information nowadays people ride in bus for fun. Learn to spot the potentail girls, i have one now that is very obediant and takes every single word i say to her. I truely lover her to the maximum, and i was always inlov, never out of love. Walaahi i love gabdhaha sidaas oo kale ah, they are sweeter than sweet just becouse of the perception they have about men and they are full of respect for both men and women. These days girls don't know what they are mat at and why. It is like they were blinded from finding out why they are angry at us? They've heard of stories about men and that aroused their anger towards us. War heedhe, aniga my Fiancee' is half Somali and Half Kuwaiti and when u see how beautiful(xuurul-ceyn) that lady is, you will think she is a dream in paradise. She is so respectfull and full of Islamic knowledge, and How to deal with people. People think she is not Somali coz she looks like half cast white/black. She is more proud to be Somali than the full blooded somali ones. My advice to these Somali girls is, dont think everyone who talks to you needs you. Walaahi you must understand your role in the Society, coz you are to be the mothers of the our children, loosen up alittle. Look at other societies, however bad they are or look they still haven't got this "isjajbis" you girls have.
