But what's all with this 9/9 number, I think is a magic one that this time round the government will pass the parliament, hope so. Jumatatu Posted January 5, 2005 And the 91 does not include the additional 10 or so state ministers which will be added. This has gone down the drain, looking forward to see the next Somali peace conference... . heard the Musaveni of Uganda is planning to convene one now since all other immidiate neighbours had a chance. Damn why not him. it will be a boost to his country's economy...

QabiilDiid Posted January 5, 2005 Whatever gives us a governmental framework and preserves the unity of Somali is a step forward. What other options do we have? BTW, most delegates in Nairobi have been enduring innumerable hardships and insults while volunteering their time for more than 2 years. They don’t live with their wives and children. On the other hand most Somalis who have access to the internet gobble up ice creams in the Western World and are looking forward to return back to a democratic efficient Somalia that has a 12-Cabinet government and strong security forces …… The members of Somali government deserve our respect. If you can do, go and change the march of history….. Otherwise shut up and salute your masters. We need Somalia to come back by hook or by crook. ANYWAYS, put together a dumb Parliament and you get dumb and irrelevant results. PROBLEM: finding a lasting solution to Somalia's political turmoil. SOLUTION (as they see it): empower all the morons and tribal mouthpieces so they can hold power and presige the way members former Somali regimes did. We need Somalia to come back by hook or by crook. I do see your need for some sort of peace. But you also gotta think of the long-term effects of letting these moronns run Somali national affairs. If they left their wives, who asked them to? Not me. The way I see it - they're greedy sons of jackals out to get the easy buck. But in Mogadishu, they'll find that the bullet is quicker. Nationalist Posted January 5, 2005 Windtalker, normally you're full of bullshit. But you got a point there. The parliament is a group of dumb animals trying to get some easy cash flow. I hope they will be punished in Mogadishu for kibirka iyo iswaalwaalinta that they did in Nairobi. So the number of ministers: 11-11 9-9 9-9 9-9 4-4 7 = 91 + Gedi = Cabinet members = 92 These MPs are mongrels if they rejected Gedi the first time, while the new one agreed upon is looking much like the former one. These mongrels just wasted our precious time for goodness sake.
