Overseas surveyors arrive in Somaliland

Hargeisa (QARAN)-The Somaliland minister of Natural Resources and Water, Mudane Qasim Sheikh Yusuf today welcomed a group of surveyors from Australia and Norway at Egal International Airport

 

In welcoming the surveyors to Somaliland, Mudane Sheikh Yusuf stated "The arrival of these natural resources specialist marks a new chapter in Somaliland's endeavours to developed its natural resources, in oil, gas and water, and these geologists have arrived to offer their guidance and expertise"

 

The Somaliland ministry of Natural Resources and Water has been conducting seismic surveys, and it has been expected that the aerial surveys will commence. The overseas technicians have brought with them an extensive array of tools including their own survey plane.
