JIGJIGA, Ethiopia (HOL) — A major blackout has plunged Jigjiga and other towns in eastern Ethiopia into darkness for the fifth consecutive day, disrupting essential services, crippling businesses, and hampering Ramadan observances as local and federal officials rush to restore power.
