This another positive update, unfortunately their has been skermishes over water-wells in that part of puntland and it really needs to be settled once an for all.

Water is such crucial thing in that part of the region, that it can be the precursor to any war to happen. We need to solve this damn water crisis facing the region with long-term objectives.

I suggest setting up a fundraiser in the diaspora to all put in money towards cloud-seeding plane and equipments. This will work quite well as it has worked quite well for dubai extreme desert regions.

The way it works is: you take a plane into the sky and seed clouds with special chemicalized precipation ingredients. This will achieve more rain to fall during the wet-seasons of puntland.

Say for example puntland recieves 100mm of rain a year. And say we recieve 50mm of ran from july-september. During the rainy season when their is clouds present, what you do is you apply this equipment into the clouds, so when it was supposed to rain 50mm, we will get 150 mm of rain. This will later be used and saved in barakads and will last us longer to hold us over for longer during the drought seasons.

It increases the barakads for longer use, so by the time we are to finish all the water, the next rainy season is coming and will fill up the barakads and we do the same thing and go into the sky with the plane and apply the seeding equipment.

This is good solution for puntland, becuz we have semi arid land that is similar to dubai and if it worked for dubai harsh land, i am sure it will work for ours.

It costs about $500 000 to purchase small plane, the equipment, and staff costs, plus maintenance. It will only be used during the rainy seasons because that is when clouds are present.

I am sure we can raise up those funds, because recently the samafal and nasrullahi charity organizationsr raised up $200 000 just in the u.k for displaced ppl in puntland. And that as just the u.k
