Breaking News: Fighting breaks out in Somalia!!!

It is confirmed by credible reports that the Islamic Courts Union (ICU) have launched a preemptive and premeditated attack on the combined forces of the Puntland State of Somalia and militias from Galmudug region of Somalia.

 

The attack took place at exactly (approx.)midnight local time as the local populance were preparing for their celebrations regarding the partial arms embargo lifting and the new UN resolution enforcing the credibility of the TFG amongst the world community by sending a combined force of African Union and Igad peacekeepers to Somalia, therefore once again pledging an involvement by the International Community into the internal affairs of the TFG of Somalia for an initial period of six months!

 

ICU were against troop deployments and the partial arms embargo lifting, hence their rush, quick and sudden attack on the areas were Darawiish's were stationed just outside the city of Galkacyo, who had the task for protecting the city from the ICU, that want it to capture as a negotiating item in further talks with the tfg and International Community, they would give up control of Galkacyo if the events of today were reversed and the status quo restored but we see what happens and unfolds in the days and weeks ahead of us inshallaah!
