Algeria pays USD two million for support of Somalia

 

CAIRO, Oct 2 (KUNA) -- Algeria paid Sunday its contribution earmarked by the latest Arab summit held in Algiers, totaling USD two million to the Somalia support fund.

 

Algerian representative Abdelqader Hajjar told newsmen after meeting Arab League Secretary General Amre Moussa that his country has paid its share in the Fund totaling USD 26 million.

 

He added that his country has paid all its dues to the joint Arab action institutions, in particular support for the Palestinian Authority budget. (end) mfm.
