General Duke Posted September 7, 2008 The people of Kismayu were robed for a decade or so and we hope the new admin will work for the interest of all. The government should allow this new admin to suceed as it allowed the confused Hiiraale. Thus wish them the best inssha Allah and peace to the beautiful city... dhulQarnayn Posted September 7, 2008 Saaxiib Duke, Anigu ma diidani in maamul wanaagsan laga dhiso Kismaayo oo loo dhanyahay, laakin dad aan gobolka u dhalan sidii kuwii isku magacaabi jiray walaalaha galgaduud oo kale in ey maanta niman maqaarsaar ah, oo Alshabab hor boodayaan madax looga dhigo waa mid aan u cuntameyn dadka soomaaliyeed ee ku nool Kismaayo. Taasina waxay dhalinaysaa in dowladda Federaalka oo marar badan ka meer meeraysay inay fara galiso waxa ka jira Kismaayo ay hada si ugu dhakhsaha badan talaaba caad ey ka qaadi doonto. dhulQarnayn  Republic Of California
xiinfaniin Posted September 7, 2008 No doubt that the newly formed Kismayo admin is antithesis to the clannish madness that besieged the city so long. Perhaps this is a divine gift from Allah in this season of raxmah to the suffering masses. We pray to Allah for its success. It’s apparent however that Somalia has no political void. And the fall of major city like Kismayo will probably draw a negative reaction from the destructive armies stationed in the country. It would’ve been better had the Kismayo coalition acted in a shrewd manner and assembled a civilian admin that they could trust, instead of appointing their own leaders to govern the city. With all estimation, and Allah knows the best, that would’ve removed any justification of a subsequent attack of the city! They should’ve done every thing to avoid the repeat of the Beledweyne fiasco… Having said that, if the attack comes as predicted, let it be known that those who captured the city violated no principles and conducted themselves in a political fashion that’s agnostic to any tribal consideration as far as the forming of the admin goes. Yet it will prove the utter failure of not being able to learn from prior mistakes. Allow sidii roon…

unknown1 Posted September 7, 2008 Mr duke you are a mystery. first u hate sh turki (xafidahullah) and then he's a good sheekh. and you like murtad AY and sheekh turki. AY wants kismayo and you dont agree with your adeer. sheekh zaylici is a shabaab leader according to shabaab website. it seems you like turki because of qabiil. well you are from the same clan, arent u? and u keep saying 'locals' all the time. When I.C.U captured xamar, didnt they capture it through locals help? you are truly a mystery DUKE!
Juje Posted September 7, 2008 Originally posted by HornAfrique: .to be so accepting of an Islamist administration that is majority reer Gedo and for Kismaayo no less! Lol..! Saxiib ma dhuso ayad tahey cariiri jecliida, this new Admin had nothing to do and neither does it embrace any clan nor is it linked with any province that has a clan adminstration. It is the second time you used the reer Gedo and new admin link today - let me make clear one thing for you saxiib - if there is anything that the wadaads or shabaabs that have captured and building a new admin in Kismayo have nothing to do with is the accommodation of the needs of reer hebel and reer hebel. The fact that S/lander is head of the admin shows you that they have a different set of priorities than what has been the ill conceived norm in Somalia. In simple words sxb Horn stop your self imposed jubilation and with humility lick your wounds and admire a Somali solution at work.
The Zack Posted September 7, 2008 ^Well said! Let's leave this qabiil thing a lone because it will NEVER get us any where. We should all know better!
Sir-Qalbi-Adeyg Posted September 7, 2008 Huraale still plans on attacking the city, even though this admin did their past to placate he's group with this new admin.
ilax Posted September 7, 2008 I wish Kismayo serves as 'experiment ground'for clan free adminstration.
General Duke Posted September 8, 2008 I agree with Juje on this, the admin is headed by a S/Lander and a local one at that. We shoudl welcome it and hope insha Allah that he leads the city well. UNKNOWN: Adeer the man I do not know and thus will not condenm him, his future actions will decide if I continue to support him. As for Xasan Turki I dont see why you keep mentioning him? Abtigiis Posted September 8, 2008 I hear some of Xasan Turki's clansmen are mad at him for transferring 'their town' to others. Let them weep blood if they so wish! Religion and Somalinimo is what matters. Million congratulations for Sheekh Xasan Turki for the qabiil-free initiative. Alla-ya-cizak yaa sheek! Magaalo hebla anagaa leh baa Somali baa'bisay. Kismanyo is owned by no reer. It is one of the major cities of Somalia, and every somali owns it! That is the justice Somali's are looking for. And that is what an islamic adminstration can deliver. No salvation for somalia without following the 'Sh'Turki' Model. Guul Alshabab! Guul Qabiil-diid's and Guul Somalia. We all know how Abdullahi Yusuf would have dealt with the ownership of Kismayo if he wins it. Reer-hebel intaa, reer-hebelna intaa! ayaa ka dhici la heyd.
