Che -Guevara Posted December 29, 2024 ‘Dark forces’ from Somaliland kill at least 83 on Ethiopian territory At least 30 members of the Somali regional police force and 53 civilians have been killed by an armed group that crossed into Ethiopian territory, Harshin Woreda, from Somaliland over the past week. Government officials confirmed the casualties to The Reporter, but other sources say the attacks claimed more than 200 lives. Harshin, the easternmost woreda of Jigjiga Zone, is bordered on the south by Degehabur Zone, on the west by Kebri Beyah, and on the northeast by Somaliland. Harshin is home to clans who inhabit both the Somali region and Somaliland. Seven days ago, it turned into the scene of a bloody series of events that reportedly began with a clan-related clash over grazing lands in Yoale Kebele. The Somali regional administration sent a team of three police officers, including Mohammed Gedi, Harshim’s security chief, to bring the clash under control, according to an official in the Somali regional government. Che -Guevara Posted December 29, 2024 If the story of well-armed militia crossing from Somaliland is true, it seems this is an attempt to derail Irro presidency before it even takes off.

Every one in somaliland want president ciiro to succeed . There is basically no mucaraad with a base these days . Besides ciiro won the presidency landslide people got tired of kulmiye 14 year rule . People needed some change I don’t think there is a conspiracy to derail the presidency of ciiro
galbeedi Posted December 30, 2024 Che, This wasn't the usual Somali Geeljire skirmished with deadly results or the Liyu Police shooting civilians to scare them taking arms against them. This was a well calculated war and ambush by the Habro. Not only the did kill the mayor of the Qabale, but murdered the police garrison at the village and ambushed those who tried to help. Well armed technicals with heavy guns crossed and killed the lightly armed police. Reliable people say the ambush of the Liyu was well planned. The Habro want to saw chaos in the Somali region and fragment them along clan lines. Also, as they killed and ambushed , they went to the airwaves and cried fault of the Liyu killing people. Certainly they mastered the propaganda. They had made some success since the federal government ordered the police to leave the are of the conflict. Their strategy is to fragment the DDS region along clan lines. Furthermore, there is a strategy created by Muuse Biixi this year to create a well armed clan militia among the Habro. Both the GX and HJ had already created a clan militia with pick up trucks and mounted with guns. Clan insignia like G36 or SBS are painted along side the regime forces. During the Ceerigaabo clashes, the war was between Khaatumo SSC forces on one side Vs clan militia (GX and HJ) and regime forces on one side. They doing this openly. Two years ago we have seen Abiy Ahmed arm Amhara militia with heavy guns and ammunition to fight the TPLF. a year or so later those guns were used against his army with deadly results. The law energy fool called Cirro is watching the Biixi militia taking the initiative without realizing the danger. Let the chickens come home to roasts. We have seen clan militia taking charge in south central Somalia with deadly results. Waxaan sugnaaba waa Dahabshiil oo diyaarsada tekinikadii u ilaalin lahayd maalka iyo Darraha Shirkada. The later is always worse than the former. It is a well tested tradition.
Che -Guevara Posted December 30, 2024 Galbeedi, Those who launched the attacks made a fundamental mistake. They foolishly forget that they crossed an international border. Their goal might have been to destabilize the Somali region, but they conveniently ignored the region is under Addis Ababa jurisdiction regardless how Somalis view the Ethiopian colonization of the Somali region. This is not Las Anod or Erigavo.
