Che -Guevara Posted December 27, 2024 From what I understand, local clans from opposing communities had a conflict over land, a farm land. The land belongs to the Arab clan. A small number of Liyu Polce and local officials came to the area to assess the situation and find a solution. The Liyu Police were ambushed by Arab militia. Liyu Police members died including commanders. The commanders were Ciise, Arab and OG men. Videos of the dead were shared on social media The Arab militia were not all from the area. The Liyu Police came back in force and went rampage. Ethiopian forces decided not to intervene. They agreed to close the border, but nothing else. In any case, over 200 Somalis are dead including 60 Liyu police. A small disagreement turned into bloodbath.

Walaahi cawaan dhaaf Soomaali noqotay and the misuse of baraha bulshada to display the dead is making it worse.
